Event Details
Over the weekend of the 14th and 15th August 2021 the Airport will be open to the public from 10.00am each day in a celebration of heritage transport and all things aviation with daily entrance costing just £5 per person per day and under 8s going free.
In what promises to be an interesting and exciting weekend, visitors will have the chance to get up close to a large range of exhibits which we hope will include classic cars, motorbikes, commercials, military / service vehicles and re-enactors.
Based flying schools will be on hand to show you how you can get started in aviation and a mixture of flying visitors and static exhibits is planned to include microlights, general and sport aviation, gliders, balloons and classic aircraft types.
The Navigator Café will be serving refreshments throughout the day and a range of other attractions are currently being finalised including live music, dance performances, model aircraft etc
Wings and Wheels is not an airshow however there will be plenty of aircraft movements each day, with the possibility of a flyby or two.
