The Finnish Air Force has published details of the 2026 Midnight Hawks Display Team.

Captain Ville Kirijatshenko will continue as the leader of the Midnight Hawks for the 2026 season with Captain Arttu Majuri on the left wing and Captain Lauri Lappalainen on the right wing. Captain Ville Mattila, who performed as the team commentator last season, will in the slot position at the rear of the formation. Captain Petteri Wahlgren, who flew in slot in 2025, will take over as the team supervisor with captain Tatu Turunen is the 2026 ‘rookie’ and commentator.

The team will perform at:

  • 7th May – Air Force Academy Air Force Careers Day, Jyväskylä, Finland
  • 12th May – Satakunta Air Command Careers Day, Pirkkala, Finland
  • 4th June – Flag Day Parade of the Finnish Defence Forces
  • 20th August – Air Force Careers Day, Rovaniemi, Finland
  • 22nd-23rd August – Jubileumsflygdagar Flygvapnet 100 år, Malmen AB, Linköping, Sweden
  • 13th September – Danish Air Show, Aalborg Airport, Denmark
