Amid the historic buildup of the Danish defense forces, driven by rising international tensions, the 2026 Danish Air Show will focus on Denmark’s security, the development of combat capabilities, and career opportunities for both young and experienced talents. From the Armed Forces, the Danish Air Show offers a day filled with high-flying experiences, impressive displays, and exciting activities both in the air and on the ground.
In short, a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Air Force’s and the Armed Forces’ wide range of societal tasks, which are carried out every single day in Denmark, the Realm, and in the world.
The airshow will be staged at Aalborg Airport on Sunday 13th September 2026.
The audience will have the opportunity to meet a wide range of soldiers and personnel from the Air Force and the rest of the Armed Forces. There will be pilots, aircraft mechanics, tank operators, combat divers, and many more, who will talk about their jobs and how they carry out their tasks. At the same time, the audience can get up close to much of the equipment that is crucial for the soldiers’ missions – both in the air and on the ground.
“We are in a security policy situation that requires both modern technology and strong skills. Danish Air Show 2026 is an opportunity to show the public how we work to protect Denmark in a world that is changing,” says Major General Jan Dam, who is the head of the Air Command.
During the Danish Air Show, recruitment advisors can give all interested parties insight into educational paths and everyday life in a modern defence force.
The program for the Danish Air Show is being prepared and will be continuously published on Forsvaret.dk, Danishairshow.com, as well as on facebook.com/danishairshow/
