The Airshow Team at IWM Duxford has released the dates of four further Flying Days for their 2023 display season. They are as follows:
Sunday 7th May – VE Day Flying Day – Celebrate aviation’s role in the fight for victory during the Second World War as part of your Coronation weekend.
Sunday 4th June – Commemorating D-Day Flying Day – Duxford played a pivotal role in D-Day operations. Experience a special flying display to honour our place in history.
Friday 28th July – The Americans Flying Day – Enjoy an American themed display from the aviation partners who call Duxford home, watch as living history groups bring the historic airfield to life and explore IWM Duxford’s hangars and exhibitions
Saturday 12th August – 19 Squadron Flying Day – Honour the legendary 19 Squadron Spitfire pilots who flew in combat over Dunkirk and throughout the Battle of Britain.
