When it was announced by Royal Navy Air Station Yeovilton that the 2022 International Air Day would not be taking place for commercial reasons, the social media post also said it was hoped the popular event would return in 2023. However, there has been little news since in the public domain.
Through a Freedom of Information request made to the Ministry of Defence, Flightline UK has had it confirmed there are no plans for the Royal Navy International Air Day to return in 2023. It is understood that the Royal Navy is still looking for a commercial partner for the event.
