The unique civilian French aerobatic team, Patrouille Reva, have decided to stop flying formation air displays and have put their Rutan Long-Ez and Vari-Ez aircraft up for sale. Team leader Réal Weber announced the decision at the recent convention held by France Spectacle Aérien at Lyon.
The sale of the aircraft is an oppotunity for new owners to form a new team as all three aircraft are modifed and full certified for display flying by the french authorities. If the aircraft remain unsold, Réal will continue to fly solo display routines in the Long-Ez.
Reva have appeared at many displays in the UK over the years. In particular, the team made a number of appearances at Airbourne, the Eastbourne International Airshow but also appeared at the Bournemouth Air Festival, Jersey International Air Display, Sunderland International Airshow and Southend Airshow.
