On the 19th May, Captain Aleš Seidl and Captain David Byrtus have received certification to display the Czech Air Force’s L-159 ALCA at events across Europe. The pilots will debut their display in public during an online event in place of the Aviatická Pouť event at Pardubice. Both pilots are highly experienced and their display adheres to NATO STANAG 3533 which covers safety at air displays.
Their display is split into two parts. The first third of the display is a role demonstration supplemented by ground based pyrotechincs. The remaining part of the display is a pair aerobatic routine highlighting the handling qualities of the Aero Vodochody L-159 ALCA.
As well as their opening display later this month, the pair will display at Roudnice nad Labem, Ostrava plus international events in Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, France and Hungary.
