The International Sanicole Airshow in Belgium will be expanded to a three day event in 2021 to spread the audience numbers over three days. Friday will be still be a sunset show while Saturday and Sunday will see a full daytime airshow. The Belgian Air Force will still host a spottersday at nearby Kleine-Brogel around the Sanicole weekend and details on this will follow soon.
In an email to visitors, show organiser Geoffrey Buekenberghs wrote, “Our team has not been idle these past few months and we have been hard at work for the 2021 Sanicole Airshow which will take place from 10 until 12 September. This will be an edition that may still look a little different than the previous 41, but we are convinced we have come up with a setup that ensures another top edition, in all safety. Of course, we will let you know the details soon, but I can already tell you that this year, we will have three airshow days (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday), to spread the expected number of visitors over three rather than two days, while retaining a spottersday at Kleine-Brogel.”
