The Imperial War Museum has revealed details of its 2021 Air Display season. With Flying Legends moving to Sywell, the IWM Duxford airshow calendar has been completely revised for 2021 with two major airshows, the Air Festival in July and September’s  Battle of Britain Airshow. Accompanying the airshows are ten flying days.

2021 Airshows

2021 will see two Air Shows take place at IWM Duxford over the weekends of 24-25 July and 18-19 September: the Duxford Air Festival and the Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show. These will include entertaining ground content and of course, our signature air displays. The focus of the organisers will be on the safety of visitors, staff and volunteers, adapting and responding to the changing environment as required.

2021 Flying Days

2021 will see the introduction of ten Flying Days which will run on various dates from April to October. From D-Day to commemorating the valiant efforts of RAF Duxford’s Squadron 19, each of these Flying Days will be themed and will allow visitors the chance to explore our museum and pop up displays and experiences, before enjoying hours of flying action in the skies.
