As noted earlier in February during the Pre-Season Flying Display Symposium at Shrivenham, the Civil Aviation Authority has now published a new safety notice regarding displays by ex-military jets at UK Airshows. “SN-2018/001: Restricting the Operation of Ex-Military Jet Aircraft at Flying Displays” replaces Safety Notice 2015/003 and lifts the restrictions placed on Straight Wing ex-military jets allowing aerobatic sequences at overland display venues. Restriction placed on swept-wing ex-military jets remain in force.
