Probably the best little air show in the country is set to open its gates once more on 19th June. The Bob Jones Memorial Air Show at Welshpool, with a star-studded aerial line up is expecting another bumper day at the fun-filled day out all the family can enjoy.
The iconic Sally B – the last airworthy B-17 in Europe takes centre stage and will be accompanied by its former foe, the Messerschmitt Bf109. Both of these historic aircraft are film-stars in their own right.

There will be a host of other flying displays from the Silver Stars parachuting in, to the Breitling Wing Walkers and their show of derring-do. There’ll be displays from Team Raven, Bob Pooler and his Husky, Lauren Richardson in her twizzling Pitts Special and also a visit from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight as well as a vintage Fairey Swordfish. Regular wow-makers the RAF Typhoon and vintage flyers, the Old Buckers complete the line-up.

Add to all this, hundreds of vintage cars in the transport festival, a field full of stalls of things to look at, marvel at, try your hand at, or just eat.
Come and see why this is one of the most popular days out in the whole country.
