The 2020 Display Season was severely curtailed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic that swept the world. Many events around the globe were cancelled due to the uncertainty and restrictions on everyday life. However, during the second half of the display season, there were a handful of shows that did take place across Europe. In the UK, the Shuttleworth Collection put on a number of drive-in events while Headcorn also managed to reschedule and modify its annual Battle of Britain Airshow. Guernsey too managed to go ahead with a near normal event which was greatly appreciated by the Island’s residents. Though Duxford lost all its major airshows, it did manage to stage three showcase days plus some other smaller events for enthusiasts.
