2014 saw the start of commemorations marking 100 Years since the First World War and also the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Arnhem Campaign. Many events up and down the country marked these important anniversaries with special flying displays. 2014 also saw the RAF Red Arrows celebrate their 50th Display Season with major events at the RAF Waddington International Airshow and a THREE DAY Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.
