2012 saw the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee which wase marked at a number of events including at Duxford and the Royal International Air Tattoo. Major aviation anniversaries included the 100th Anniversary of the Central Flying School and the 70th Anniversary of the arrival of the USAAF 8th Air Force.
