RAF Waddington International Airshow 2004
Changeable weather dominated the RAF Waddington International Airshow weekend with sunny spells and downpours. However, despite that and some unfortunate last minute cancellations, the organisers prevailed with another fine display of Royal Air Force and partner nations aircraft.

2004 was another difficult year for military participation at Waddington which once again faced clashes with major European events. It did however secure a far-travelled star item in the form of the Lockheed P-3K Orion from the Royal New Zealand Air Force. There were also two big national jet teams from Europe present with Il Frecce Tricolori and Patrulla Aguila. The 40th Display Season of the Red Arrows was also marked with a formation with a Folland Gnat T1.
The 17 Squadron Eurofighter Typhoon T1 Role Demonstration also made its second public appearance of the 2004 Season highlighting the future of UK Air Defence.
