AIRSHOW NEWS: First display booked for Clacton Airshow 2018

The organisers of Clacton Airshow have booked their first flight for 2018 and it will commemorate the centenary of the end of World War I. It will be the first time that the Great War Display Team will have appeared at the event which is now in its 27th year. London Biggin Hill’s Festival of Flight is set to take place at the airport on the 18th and 19th of August 2018. The 2018 festival will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force (RAF100). Invitations to participate have been extended to The Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Captain Stefan Porteous as the pilot for the 2018 CF-18 Demonstration Team.
