Farnborough International Airshow is the most famous airshow in the UK. Held every two years, the show the UK’s shop-window for the Aerospace Industry featuring exhibitors fron the civilian, defence and space sectors. The first five days are the main trade days though the Friday hosts “Futures Day” and an “Enthusiasts Day.” The world famous daily flying display is a fundamental part of Farnborough, showcasing the most advanced commercial and military aircraft.
The Public Weekend sees a bigger five hour flying display. From the roar of the military jets to the iconic red, white and blue vapor trails from the Red Arrows, it’s an exhilarating afternoon of flying. There’s a whole host of interactive activities, exhibits and entertainment features too. Visit the Space Zone and Innovation Zone for a look into the future of aerospace, with live demonstrations and guest talks from astronauts. Take the opportunity to meet the heroes of the flying display in the ‘Meet the Pilot’ area or simply just soak up the atmosphere and wonder through the various exhibits throughout the show ground.
